Went and drew by the river, feeling free and inspired.
An older foreign man on a bicycle stopped to look at my drawings, and we chatted for a while.  He advised me that “you must look for the people that are strong, too, or want to be strong.”  YES EXACTLY.  Why did I waste 2+ years on someone who in so many ways lacked the innate desire for self betterment?

Distracted thoughts on evolution

What if strong psychological desire aids in the long trek towards evolution/adaption?  Sure natural selection and environmental pressures lead to changes, but sometimes I just wonder, why would certain things so awesome develop when it doesn’t seem directly related to environmental need?  Maybe if I start a cult based on this, some several thousand years from now there will be super-people everywhere.

Ugh, someone please make me study for my human origins exam instead of speculate stupid thoughts like this!!
